The department deals with the comprehensive preventive & specialized dental treatment for children which includes pit & fissure sealants, topical fluoride application, GIC filling, composite restoration, root canal treatment, pulpectomy, pulpotomy, preventive & interceptive orthodontic treatment, pediatrics crown and last but not the least department also provides full mouth rehabilitation and management of pediatrics fracture under conscious sedation in minor O.T.
The ambience of the clinical operatory is warm, cheerful and friendly to cater the need of children. The department has seminar room, special play room for the little ones and also an isolation room for special child care, a counseling room equipped with audio visual aids for educating parents and children. The audio-visual mode for behavior shaping and management . A wide range of latest dental materials along with special facilities. Department has both fully functional undergraduate & post graduate well equipped section also including preclinical ultramodern lab. The students can lay their hands on the state-of-the-art equipments such as RVG for specialized diagnosis, pulp tester, rotary hand piece etc for clinical work.
Department has 2 PG seats recognized by the Dental Council India.

He is renowned Paedodontics and an academician beyond par with endless claims. He has been facilitated with outstanding performance and commitment in pediatric dentistry in the year 2017. He has guided many posts graduate thesis and library dissertations. His discipline, simplicity and honesty for work are an inspiration and driving force which has been an epitome of energy for entire staff and student.
