Department of Periodontics is functioning in 3 unit’s viz Postgraduate, Undergraduate and dental hygienist section. The department is will equipped with latest diagnostic and exclusive surgical instruments. The treatment and prevention of diseases of gums is done here. Scaling using ultrasonic devices, root planning, various gingival and periodontal flap surgeries are conducted here.

Department is Headed by Prof. Anand Kishore who did his graduation and post graduation from King George’s Medical College, Lucknow(UP ) India with an experience over 17 years with publications in various National & International Journals. He has attended many National and International conferences. He also holds controller of examination. He has been guide and co guide in many dissertations and thesis.
DR. ANAND KISHORE
Graduated & post graduated from Faculty of Dental Sciences, King George’s Medical College, Lucknow. He has a vast academic experience of 17 yrs & was associated with process recognition of both graduate & postgraduate dental colleges. He is the controller of examination of this college well as member of ethical and anti-ragging committee. It is committed in achieving academic excellence providing optimal oral health care & high quality periodontal treatment along with oral health promotion & care.
Dr. Anand Kishore, Principal, Professor and Head department of Periodontology, Chandra Dental College and Hospital, Safedabad, Barabanki. He is a revered teacher and well known to the Periodontology and Implantology fraternity for his perseverance, single minded dedication and an eye for detail. He has taught me the value of keen observation and patience for which I am solemnly thankful to him.
